So I'm getting married in a week and I'm really excited about it.

It seems like a long time ago now I decided to do a sketch for each of my groomsmen instead of the typical stuff that people get. Seemed easy enough Turns out that a nice drawing for five groomsmen plus a ring bearer on top of all the wedding planning hub-bub is kind of a tall order. I'm proud to say they're finally done! Just finished matting and framing the last one, and I can't wait to give them out come bachelor party time

I covered quite the range of subjects, from local San Diego vistas to jets and sci-fi tributes. I think I ended up with something that each one will really like. Had a lot of fun, learned quite a bit, and most importantly I got myself thinking in a drawing way again. Can't wait to start working on some lower pressure personal ideas when we get home from our Hawaii honeymoon
